Attorney Bierstedt Obtains Favorable Verdict for Client at Trial

Clarissa Bierstedt successfully defended a personal injury action at trial. The plaintiff’s claims were related to a motor vehicle accident in which the defendant had pulled into the plaintiff’s path from a stop sign, resulting in a collision. Prior to trial, the defendants offered $20,000 to settle the claim. During his closing argument, the plaintiff requested over $220,000 in damages. The jury returned a verdict of approximately $10,000 and found the plaintiff was partially at fault for his claimed damages.
