Schlotzhauer v. The Final Season, et al: Primary counsel responsible for successful defense of The Final Season, LLC, a movie production company, in a products liability trial involving the crash of Bell Jet 206B helicopter during the filming of a major motion picture.

Standard, et al. v. Starcraft RV, Inc., et al: Primary counsel on behalf of Starcraft RV involving wrongful death claims stemming for an RV wheel-off event. A complete defense verdict was achieved on demands amounting to in excess of $8M.

Siels, et al. v. Templeton Rye Spirits, LLC: Plaintiffs' counsel, and national steering counsel, in the prosecution of nationwide class action against Templeton Rye on claims of deceptive and false advertising concerning the production and labeling of Templeton Rye whiskey, amounting to settlement of national claims at $2.5M.

On a personal note:

Outside of the office, Randy enjoys spending time with his wife, Meredith, and his two sons, Kyler and Beckett. Another cause Randy works tirelessly for is the Blue Lips Foundation, a non-profit he and his wife founded to raise awareness and support research for the early detection of pulmonary arterial hypertension. Randy serves as general counsel and is a member of the foundation's board of directors.
